The 42″ high railing is 4″ x 4″ con-heart S4S redwood posts, through bolted to the 2″ x 12″ clear green redwood fascia. The top and bottom rails are 2″ x 4″ clear green S4S redwood. To keep from blocking the view we used nine strands of stainless steel cable. The railing is finished off with a 2″ x 6″ clear green redwood S4S red cap. The deck surface is 2″ x6″ clear green redwood. The framing is brown tone pressure treated fir. With 2″ x 8″ joists set 16″ on center. 4″x 12″ beams and 4″x 6″ support posts. The post bases are through bolted to the support posts.
